CHRIS VOLEK

HairTech International was created by Chris Volek, founder and CEO based upon his highly successful businesses in Europe and South Africa. In the U.K., Volek owned one of the largest direct marketing companies in Europe, with clients such as Harrod's, Selfridges and House of Fraser Group.

In 1997, Volek returned to South Africa and created AHS (Advanced Hair Studio - S.A.) with his wife Diana, an internationally trained hair stylist. The company’s main focus was in supplying and fitting top quality hair extensions to the South African customer. The chain of salons grew rapidly and was incredibly lucrative. By 2000, AHS (South Africa) was the most recognized brand of hair extensions in the country, with salons in every major city center.

The AHS Laser Hair Restoration Program became an instant success and one of the biggest money-making treatments in South Africa. To date, well over 10,000 clients have been successfully treated.

Volek moved operations to California in 2005. With a proven success rate as a company leader, coupled with a proven product, HairTech International will quickly be a force in the U.S. beauty industry.

Volek was one of the first pioneers in South Africa to leverage celebrity association with brands. His strategy to create celebrity endorsements with well-known people generated awareness, image and credibility quickly, strategically and cost-effectively. By signing Paris Hilton, Volek plans a similar celebrity endorsement strategy in the U.S. and global market.
